Folding Tables and Chairs in Thanksgiving Celebration
Families like to gather during parties and celebrations. One in particular is Thanksgiving. We often think of Thanksgiving as a break from school so that we get to spend a long weekend at home. Sometimes we misconstrue this as the start of the Christmas holiday. But Thanksgiving is actually a separate occasion. It is the time when we celebrate a bountiful harvest and express gratitude to God.
Thanksgiving may mean a lot of things to people but for some it is a special day when we get to have roasted turkey at dinnertime. Family members gather in the table and share a meal together. For a regular-sized family, an eight-seater dining table is adequate to accommodate everyone. However for bigger families with lots of children and grandchildren, additional tables and chairs are needed. To remedy this problem, folding tables and chairs can be set up and added to the dining table. This will make everyone comfortable and have a place to dine and chat together with the rest of the family.
When we think about Thanksgiving, it is not only a celebration for the problem. We also have to remember our less fortunate members of the community. There is no better way to spend Thanksgiving than by giving people in need a hot turkey meal. People living in shelters can be provided with a traditional feast to celebrate this day. Inside the shelter, long lines of folding tables and folding chairs can be set up to provide a dining place for everyone.
